1. Introduction

This Legal Notice governs access to and use of the Zuri Ride™ website, mobile applications, online platforms, booking systems, digital content, support channels, and related services collectively referred to as the “Platform.”

By accessing, browsing, registering, booking a service, submitting information, making payment, or otherwise using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Legal Notice.

This Legal Notice should be read together with Zuri Ride’s Passenger Terms of Use, Driver Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Safety Guidelines, Delivery Policy, and any other applicable policy or agreement published by Zuri Ride.

If you do not agree with this Legal Notice, you should not use the Platform.

Zuri Ride is a curated mobility platform focused on trust, safety, professionalism, and quality service. Driver access, vehicle participation, and service availability are subject to approval, verification, platform rules, and operational requirements.

Zuri Ride is not presented as an unrestricted public transport marketplace where any driver may operate without verification or approval.


3. Platform Role

Zuri Ride provides a technology-enabled platform that may facilitate:

  • Passenger ride bookings;
  • Chauffeur-style transportation;
  • Boda or motorcycle ride services;
  • Car ride services;
  • Executive or luxury rides;
  • Parcel and courier delivery;
  • Corporate and business transport;
  • Driver dispatch and support;
  • Payment coordination;
  • Safety and service monitoring.

Services may be provided through approved independent drivers, company-managed drivers, fleet partners, company vehicles, or other approved transport providers.

Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, Zuri Ride does not guarantee that a specific driver, vehicle type, route, price, or service category will always be available.


4. Ownership of Content

All content, materials, features, and systems available on or through the Platform are owned by Zuri Ride or licensed to Zuri Ride.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Website content;
  • App content;
  • Text;
  • Graphics;
  • Images;
  • Icons;
  • Videos;
  • Logos;
  • Trade names;
  • Brand names;
  • Slogans;
  • User interface layouts;
  • App screens;
  • Website design;
  • Software elements;
  • Source code;
  • Booking flow;
  • Pricing display;
  • Documents;
  • Policies;
  • Marketing materials;
  • Business processes;
  • Platform features.

No content from the Platform may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, transmitted, sold, distributed, scraped, reverse-engineered, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Zuri Ride.


5. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the Zuri Ride Platform, including copyrights, trademarks, trade names, designs, database rights, software rights, business names, brand identity, and related proprietary rights, belong to Zuri Ride or its lawful owners.

You are granted only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access and use the Platform for lawful personal, passenger, driver, delivery, or approved business purposes.

This permission does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights to you.

You must not:

  1. Copy or imitate the Zuri Ride brand;
  2. Use Zuri Ride’s logo without permission;
  3. Create fake Zuri Ride pages or accounts;
  4. Misrepresent yourself as Zuri Ride management;
  5. Use Zuri Ride content for a competing service;
  6. Reverse-engineer the app or platform;
  7. Extract or scrape platform data;
  8. Use Zuri Ride materials in misleading advertising;
  9. Modify or remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices;
  10. Use Zuri Ride branding after account suspension or termination.

Zuri Ride reserves the right to take legal action against unauthorized use of its intellectual property.


6. Trademark Notice

“Zuri Ride,” “Zuri Ride™,” the Zuri Ride logo, slogans, icons, visual identity, and related brand elements are trademarks, trade names, or brand assets of Zuri Ride.

The symbol may be used to indicate claimed trademark rights.

The ® symbol shall only be used where a trademark has been formally registered with the appropriate authority.

Nothing on the Platform grants any person permission to use Zuri Ride trademarks without prior written consent.


7. Website and App Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful and approved purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the Platform for fraud;
  • Use the Platform for illegal activity;
  • Interfere with platform security;
  • Attempt unauthorized access;
  • Upload malicious code;
  • Abuse support channels;
  • Submit false information;
  • Create fake accounts;
  • Misuse payment systems;
  • Harass drivers, passengers, staff, or users;
  • Use the Platform in a way that damages Zuri Ride’s reputation, operations, or users.

Zuri Ride may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where misuse is suspected or confirmed.


8. Accuracy of Information

Zuri Ride makes reasonable efforts to ensure that information on the Platform is accurate, updated, and reliable.

However, Zuri Ride does not guarantee that all information will always be complete, current, error-free, or uninterrupted.

Information such as prices, availability, service areas, vehicle categories, driver availability, app features, promotional offers, and policy details may change from time to time.

Zuri Ride reserves the right to correct errors, update content, modify features, remove outdated information, or change service details without prior notice, where necessary.


9. Service Availability Disclaimer

Zuri Ride aims to provide a reliable and professional platform, but services are provided on an “as available” and “as accessible” basis.

Zuri Ride does not guarantee:

  1. Continuous availability of the Platform;
  2. Error-free operation;
  3. Availability of a specific driver;
  4. Availability of a specific vehicle category;
  5. Availability of services in every location;
  6. Fixed arrival times;
  7. Uninterrupted payment processing;
  8. Uninterrupted app or website access;
  9. Permanent availability of any feature;
  10. That every ride or delivery request will be accepted.

Service may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, driver availability, payment provider issues, telecom failures, internet outages, system maintenance, security concerns, public events, force majeure, or other operational factors.


10. Third-Party Services

The Platform may rely on or link to third-party services, including:

  • Payment processors;
  • Mobile money providers;
  • Banks;
  • Map providers;
  • SMS providers;
  • Email services;
  • Hosting providers;
  • App stores;
  • Analytics tools;
  • Verification providers;
  • External websites.

Zuri Ride does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, privacy practices, security, policies, delays, fees, or failures.

Use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Accessing third-party links or services is done at your own risk.


11. Payment and Transaction Disclaimer

Payments made through the Platform may be processed by third-party banks, mobile money providers, payment gateways, card networks, or other financial service providers.

Zuri Ride is not responsible for delays, reversals, failed payments, duplicate deductions, system outages, or processing errors caused by third-party payment providers.

Where a payment issue occurs, users may be required to provide payment proof, transaction ID, phone number, booking reference, or other relevant information to support investigation.

Refunds, reversals, and fare adjustments shall be handled according to Zuri Ride’s Refund & Cancellation Policy.


12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zuri Ride shall not be liable for:

  1. Indirect losses;
  2. Incidental damages;
  3. Consequential damages;
  4. Loss of profits;
  5. Loss of business opportunity;
  6. Missed appointments;
  7. Missed meetings;
  8. Missed flights;
  9. Delays caused by traffic;
  10. Delays caused by weather;
  11. Delays caused by road closures;
  12. Delays caused by driver unavailability;
  13. Loss caused by inaccurate user information;
  14. Loss caused by third-party payment failure;
  15. Loss caused by telecom or internet outages;
  16. Loss caused by force majeure;
  17. Lost items unless liability is proven;
  18. Issues caused by misuse of the Platform.

Where Zuri Ride is found liable for a specific paid service, Zuri Ride’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless a higher amount is required by applicable law.

Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.


13. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for the accuracy of information they provide through the Platform.

This includes:

  • Names;
  • Phone numbers;
  • Pickup locations;
  • Drop-off locations;
  • Delivery details;
  • Recipient details;
  • Payment information;
  • Driver registration details;
  • Vehicle information;

Zuri Ride shall not be responsible for losses, delays, failed rides, failed deliveries, incorrect charges, or disputes caused by inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or outdated information provided by users.

Zuri Ride may disclose user information, trip records, payment records, account information, delivery details, or support records where reasonably necessary and lawful.

Disclosure may occur for purposes such as:

  4. Fraud prevention;
  5. Safety investigations;
  6. Payment dispute resolution;
