Company: Zuri Rides
Website: https://zuriride.com
Applicable To: Drivers, riders, captains, couriers, company-vehicle operators, fleet partners, and any person approved to provide transport or delivery services through Zuri Ride.
1. Introduction
These Driver Terms of Use govern your registration, access, and use of the Zuri Ride driver application, website, platform, dispatch system, payment system, support channels, vehicle programs, delivery services, and any related services provided by Zuri Ride.
By creating a driver account, submitting your documents, accepting these Terms in the app, collecting Zuri Ride equipment, using a Zuri Ride vehicle, accepting a trip, completing a delivery, receiving earnings, or otherwise participating as a driver on the Zuri Ride platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Zuri Ride.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not register, access the driver app, accept trips, use company equipment, or provide services through Zuri Ride.
2. Purpose of the Zuri Ride Platform
Zuri Ride is a technology platform that connects customers with approved drivers for transport, ride-hailing, delivery, chauffeur, and related mobility services.
Zuri Ride may provide:
Zuri Ride does not guarantee that every driver will receive trips, earn a specific income, or operate in a specific location unless a separate written agreement expressly states so.
3. Driver Categories and Business Models
Zuri Ride may approve drivers under different operating models depending on business needs, vehicle type, location, qualification, and agreement with the driver.
3.1 Own-Vehicle Commission-Based Drivers
This applies where a driver uses their own vehicle, motorcycle, boda, or legally authorized vehicle to accept trips through the Zuri Ride platform.
Under this model:
3.2 Boda / Motorcycle Drivers

Car drivers or car owners may be required to pay a registration facilitation fee to support onboarding, verification, inspection, system activation, and administrative processing.
Unless changed in the app or in writing, the standard car driver facilitation fee may be UGX 50,000.
This fee does not automatically guarantee approval. Approval depends on document verification, vehicle inspection, driver qualification, and Zuri Ride’s internal standards.
3.4 Company Vehicle Commission Model
Zuri Ride may allow selected drivers to use vehicles owned, leased, managed, or controlled by Zuri Ride.
Where a driver uses a Zuri Ride vehicle, Zuri Ride may apply a higher commission, vehicle use charge, remittance requirement, deposit, or other commercial arrangement because the vehicle is provided by the company.
The exact terms will be communicated through the app, a written agreement, or a driver assignment form.
3.5 Company Vehicle Weekly Target Model
Under this model, Zuri Ride may assign a company vehicle to a driver on the condition that the driver remits an agreed weekly amount.

Where a driver is employed by Zuri Ride:

These Terms will still apply to the driver’s use of the app, safety rules, data usage, company property, customer conduct, platform access, and operational rules unless the employment contract states otherwise.
4. Independent Contractor Status
