How to Request Account Deletion on Zuri Ride

At Zuri Ride, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you wish to permanently delete your Zuri Ride account and associated data, you can do so directly from within the Zuri Ride mobile application.

Please carefully follow the steps below.


Steps to Permanently Delete Your Zuri Ride Account

  1. Open the Zuri Ride App on your mobile device.
  2. Log into your account.
  3. Go to the Profile / Settings section from the navigation menu.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  5. Tap on “Permanently Delete Account”.
  6. A confirmation message will appear asking:
    “Are you sure you want to permanently delete your account? You cannot retrieve this account in the future.”
  7. Confirm the deletion request.
  8. Your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion.

Once confirmed, your account will be permanently removed from the Zuri Ride system.


What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently deleted:

  • Your profile information (name, phone number, email)
  • Account login credentials
  • Ride history
  • Saved addresses
  • Parcel delivery history
  • In-app preferences
  • Profile photo
  • Device and app usage data associated with your account

You will no longer be able to access the Zuri Ride app using that account.


Data That May Be Retained

For legal, security, and financial record-keeping purposes, Zuri Ride may retain certain limited information for a required period, including:

  • Transaction records
  • Payment records
  • Legal compliance records
  • Fraud and safety records

This data is retained only where required by law or for legitimate business and safety purposes, and is not used for marketing or profiling after account deletion.


Account Deletion Processing Time

Account deletion requests are typically processed within 7–14 business days. After deletion is completed, your account cannot be recovered.

Important Notice

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will need to create a new account if you wish to use Zuri Ride again in the future.
